About Murphy

Murphy has spent the last handful of years deep in the world of evidence-based, positive reinforcement training and emerged with far more than a professional certification. She possesses a refined eye for detail, a knack for shaping behavior with clarity, and kindness balanced with a “you don’t know if you don’t try” willingness. She has a core belief that a focus on slow expectations using positive reinforcement is best for horse and human.

She specializes in helping horses learn through thoughtful communication, creative approximations , and dopamine-friendly clarity. Whether she’s coaching owners through the small wins or building solid behavior foundations from the ground up into the saddle, Murphy brings a calm presence, a curious mind, and a belief that every horse and human is capable of brilliance when given the gift of time.

Murphy volunteers weekly at St. Elmo Hero’s Foundation in Dowagiac MI.

By God’s providence, Murphy resides in Michigan with her serial entrepreneur of a husband, children, five horses and too many chickens.
